These cameras are cutting to Urban Meyer after every play and I am loving it. The Urban Meyer nervous breakdown cam is some of the best television I have ever seen. 10/10. Must watch.
Urban Meyer treated a tie football game like a life threatening illness. Meyer was out here auditioning for an Oscar on the sideline so (some) people will believe him when Michigan kicks Ohio State’s ass next week and he “retires” for “health reasons” again.
Led by a particularly theatrical performance by Meyer, the Buckeyes managed to squeeze by the Terrapins in overtime. Urban Meyer has been a man of many reactions today.
Urban Meyer has spent a lot of this season looking to be in severe pain and stress on the sidelines, and today in Maryland when Ohio State has been in trouble the whole game the pained gestures have been exacerbated. A couple weeks ago, Meyer gave interviews to Yahoo and local news outlets explaining that he has had medical issues pertaining to his brain for about two decades, and that they have gotten worse this season.
Safe to say he was acting like every Ohio State fan today. Or everyone’s kid when they are told no more iPad for tonight. This game has been like 1/3 actual football, 1/3 commercials and 1/3 Urban Meyer reaction shots.
