Hi everyone, and welcome to the TS6 era, where Taylor Swift is causing mass hysteria.
Friday she deleted all her posts on social media, just in time for the eclipse, which some would argue she upstaged. And yesterday she surprise dropped a 10 second muted video of some sort of reptilian. And today at 11am she released yet another creepy clip.
No one knows what’s going on, but here’s a few ideas.
#TaylorSwiftIsASnake became a viral hashtag a few years ago after she feuded with a few celebrities.
The hashtag reach it’s peak with snake emojis in the summer of 2016 after a few events.
First she split with producer and DJ Calvin Harris after a year and half long relationship in June 2016.
Soon after, Swift revealed that she had written “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym,”Nils Sjoberg.” The hit, recorded by Harris and Rihanna, topped the charts all summer.
Harris didn’t appreciate her taking credit and responded in a series of now deleted tweets, writing “I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym.”
Then came a blowup with Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West.
The rapper referenced Swift in February 2016 in his song “Famous.”
Swift said she never approved the lyric. But Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat video of the conversation he had with Taylor Swift proved otherwise.
