After 5 years and 6 seasons, on the mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars, A was finally revealed.
The event shocked some viewer and upset others.
A is a masked assailant who taunted, stalked and played mind games with the cast for seasons.
A’s victims include Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Alison.
It was assumed that it was Charles DiLaurentis.
DiLaurentis is Ali’s brother, long presumed dead.
But it turned out it was CeCe Drake, which is short for Charlotte.
Who was actually born a man named Charles.
Yes, that’s right, Cece is Ali’s transgender sibling.
Some fans found the reveal was lacking, since it didn’t explain all of the show’s mysteries.
While others are concerned that it links sociopathic behaviour with transgender invidiuals.
